If joining Aarheus Lodge piques your interest, we’d be delighted to hear from you and meet you.

The first few meetings don’t have to take place in a lodge building – they can be as informal as meeting a couple of the lodge members in a pub. This casual environment gives you the chance to ask any questions, discuss your interest in Freemasonry, and get to know some of your future fellow Freemasons.

In due course, the usual expectation is that at least one member of the lodge will have known you for a considerable amount of time, typically more than a year, and be willing to propose you in open lodge.

Interested in another lodge?

If joining Aarheus doesn’t suit you, for example because of your location or time constraints, but you would still like to join Freemasonry, the UGLE website makes it easy. All you need to do is register your interest there, and they will put you in contact with a lodge that matches your requirements.
