Lodge Meeting Schedule
Our lodge holds formal meetings four times a year, following the same schedule since its formation: the fourth Saturday of March, May, September (for our Installation ceremony), and November.
Meeting on Saturday afternoons allows members to take part fully in lodge life without the pressures of weekday commuting, late-night travel after work, or conflicting professional and family commitments. The lodge brings together men from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Lodge of Instruction
The Lodge of Instruction (LoI) meetings — a platform for Masonic learning and ritual practice — are scheduled in the four weeks preceding each formal assembly.
Ritual
For our ceremonies, we follow the Logic Ritual.
Summer Social
Each July or August we usually hold a summer social: an informal dinner where brethren can meet outside the context of the lodge. It is a chance to enjoy the camaraderie that makes lodge life worthwhile, and also to plan the Masonic year ahead.
Visiting Brethren
Brethren from lodges under the United Grand Lodge of England, or under a Grand Lodge that has UGLE’s recognition, are always welcome to visit Aarheus Lodge. Please email us in advance so that we can make the arrangements and ensure you are properly welcomed on the day.
Brethren visiting London from overseas are particularly welcome. If you belong to a lodge outside UGLE’s jurisdiction, we recommend that you also contact your own Lodge Secretary or your Grand Lodge’s Grand Secretary before you travel, so that all the necessary preparations can be made in good time for your visit.
